This past May my sweet husband surprised me with a trip to visit the Magnolia Market and Silos in Waco. I actually didn’t care too much for anything other than the amazing gardens and landscape around the market and bakery. It was absolutely beautiful and gave me so much inspiration for our back yard. Oh and these adorable fairy gardens…I am already planning to make one with Annabelle this week. Such a fun little day trip for those who live in the DFW area.
One of the things that I know to be very important is reflecting. Thinking back on where you have been and how that has shaped you so far. When I reflect on a season of life I am reminded of my experiences and I am typically grateful for that particular season, whether it was joyful or difficult, because all of it is working towards growing me in one way or another. Websters dictionary defines resilient in three ways: 1. springing back; rebounding. 2. returning to the original form or position after being bent, compressed, or stretched.3. recovering readily from illness, depression, adversity, or the like; buoyant.
